Hello!
I’d like to introduce our readers to a new member of the Vintages Jacques team:
Hello all!
My name is Danielle and I am the new Account Executive at Jacques Levine. I’m so excited to start my career with this amazing company. I’ve always had a passion for shoes and I adore styles that have a history or a story, which often makes it difficult for me to part with my own shoes (I still have my first pair of heels that I wore to my freshman year Homecoming dance - even though they are hideous, I can’t bare to give them up!).
I also love to learn about the care and craftsmanship that is put into their production. While a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I wrote a research paper on how Tod’s Gommino shoe is hand-crafted. Did you know there are 133 rubber pebbles on the soles of each pair, and all hand-stitched into the leather? Interesting stuff!Upon learning more about the Jacques Levine company and hearing the care, detail and pride they take in creating and making their luxurious slippers, I knew this would be the perfect fit. I can’t wait to start meeting more of our customers and clients and to start contributing to the blog.
Next time you call in, be sure to say “hi!”
