It was felt that a superior designer name might break into the better shoe stores in place of the popular store names. She sent us her designs from Paris and we produced her fabulous shoes right in our Middletown factory. For this particular style, we used a beautiful new material on a closed toe to follow up on the extremely popular original satin open toe mule with marabou fur trim.”
